Maike Häusling
Hoisting Flags & Showing Flags, installation, animation, 2008 & 2010.

The source for the installation are designs of different national flags. The colours and shapes are transformed and combined to construct new flags. In the exhibitions in Frankfurt, the work was shown as a video animation.

Maike Häusling (*1974) studied at HfG Offenbach/Main and lives and works in Frankfurt/Main. In her works she deals with the symbols and the annexation of public space.
